I have NOD32, ZA PRO 6 and PG Full. TeaTimer necessary?
yes, I'd say so
I also use PG and NOD32
Spybot S&D is still one of the classical recommendations on most security websites and that includes teatimer.
Ad-aware is also one of them. Without both you surf naked on the internet.
I use other progs now but teatimer worked well to protect the registry in the past. Nice for the price. Spybot's perhaps not leading edge but also doesn't cause problems.
Maybe try MSAS along with Spybot's Tea Timer. That will add some extra reg protection. WinPatrol has some reg protection as well but if you run all three realtime then you'll have a lot of overlap, which may not be so good.
If you want a more comprehensive registry protector why not try MJ Registry Watcher? I've heard it is pretty good and it covers more areas than the others already mentioned. Or you could look into the payware app Reg Defend, it provides quite good reg protection.
What about MS Antispyware? I think it offers the best realtime and on demand scanning protection of all the freebies.
