Is Smart Security 5 better than Kaspersky PURE?

    We have always used Kaspersky in the past, but now have heard good things about Smart Security 5.
    We (the parents) have a desktop, and our 3 teenagers have their own laptops, so we are trying to decide which to purchase so that we can all be on the same system.

    If I make changes or update Smart Security 5 on my desktop , will the 3 laptops be automatically updated?

    I would love any input into which system is better/easier for me to remotely control the desktops and 3 laptops?

    No offence but when you post in the Eset forum Eset will most likely be judged best and likewise in the Kaspersky forum I'm sure. Also A vs B comparisons are not allowed here. The usual suggestion is to trial each and then decide.
