Is redundant to use a firewal together with the ghost security?

    o_O Is redundant to use a firewal together with the ghost security? Which firewal do you recommend to use together with?Thanks.*puppy*

    a software firewall would be redundant with ghostwall but not with appdefend. appdefend only prompts for apps wanting internet access but it doesnt stop any incoming packets from hackers and such.

    theres various firewalls that would work. my choice is looknstop.

    next beta should offer more fonctionality of a firewall. Combined with ghostwall or a router it could be redundant. But rigth now WSFuser is rigth, if you really need a full capacity firewall GSS is not redundant.
