Is KIS delay a worry?

    Hi,

    I am thinking about renewing KIS. I noticed that even with the 2009 version, the firewall does not start up with Windows Vista. Some firewalls/suites seem to start sooner. Should I worry about the potential of malware executing and phoning out before KIS starts?

    How do you know it doesn't start up with Windows?

    Because LeakTest can connect out for about 10 seconds before it finally asks about the connection.

    I was looking at the reports, and it appears it sees LeakTest when first run and the firewall comes on earlier, but it doesn't stop it until later. Why would this be? I put LeakTest in Untrusted to test.
