Is it safe to run Avast Web Shield with Comodo Firewall?

    It used to be that running Avast Web Shield alongside Comodo Firewall created a security hole: data would travel through the web shield and Comodo would be unable to touch it, as the web shield acted like a proxy of sorts. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether this is still a problem or whether it's been fixed.

    I don't see any reason why would there be any problem. Besides, Web Shield works as a passthrough, Comodo will still inspect the traffic itself...

    I believe v6 has corrected the issue.I use the full suite anyhow.
    Windows firewall and others were also affected.:argh:
