    Hi Everyone!

I hope this is a quick and easy question. Is it possible to export ESET configuration setting to an Excel sheet or HTML? I would like to have a record of our current config setup for documentation. This would help for disaster recovery other then screen shots incase we lost our backup config files.

    Thanks for the help!

You should be able to export the settings into an ".xml" file. Here are the steps:

    1. Open the main program window by clicking the ESET icon next to the system clock or by clicking ‘Start’ -> ‘All Programs’ -> ‘ESET’ -> ‘ESET Smart Security’ or ‘ESET NOD32 Antivirus’.

    2. If you see 'Display: Standard mode' in the lower left corner, switch to Advanced mode by pressing CTRL + M on your keyboard.

    3. Click 'Setup' from the main menu on the left, then click 'Import and export settings...' on the right.

    4. Select 'Export settings', then click the '...' button.

    5. Select 'Desktop' as the save location, type 'configuration' in the 'File name:' box and then click 'Save'.

    6. Click 'OK' in the 'Import and export settings' window to confirm.
