Mystery: I rebooted XP today and it behaved in a way I never remember happening... looking at the systray, only the XP Wireless Network icon showed, so I told it to restart again and I got an End Program prompt for "IHW2" (I don't remember the extension, if there was one.) So I made a note of it and forced it closed. It rebooted fine and I haven't had the issue again.

But I can find hardly ANYTHING about IHW2 through google, dogpile, google groups... (a few russian and chinese sites) but I found one italian thread where they surveyed all those foreign sites and discovered most of those people on those threads mentioned Nod32. Here is the google translated thread: . Has anyone heard of this? Is it associated with Nod32? I don't see it as a running process now, and I searched my computer for it with no files found.

Since there's scant mention of it on the web I'm comfortable it's not malware (should I beo_O :) ) and would appreciate you Nod32 experts' comments.

    I have the same problem.
Found on some Serbian site that IHW2 is a part of NOD32, exactly - "IMON HIDDEN WINDOW"
