is google really looking at emails,calenders,notes...?

    ok this was a huge topic a year or 2 ago and i was wondering with all the changes that has happened since then do we now know if google is spying on all our data's? of course except the search entries.

    1. Google provides access to all your data to law enforcement of various countries.
    2. Humans at google are not reviewing your emails en masse.
    3. Automated data analytics programs at google are reading your data, and use it to serve you contextually relevant advertisements. Advertisements are the majority of Google's revenue model.

    The Rule of "Free": When you are given an online service for free, you are not the customer, you and your data are the product being sold.

    SteveTX covered it pretty well. There are some machines basically looking for hotwords and then providing ads based on that. There isn't any human looking "OMG Hungry Man likes to watch THAT kind of pr0n??!?!"
