Is BOINC problem fixed

    BOINC/SETI seems to install ok and connects to their server.
    But, all wu downloads fail.

    Any ideas ?

    Hi kenw:

    If you have version 2.12.2 of NOD32 and Mozilla/4.0 iexplore.exe is set to Higher efficiency in IMON setup, then the updates will probably fail. It needs to be set to Higher compatibility for now.

    Hi

    Have XP pro, SP2 installed, I'm running 2.12.2, with Hi efficiency in IMON, FF 1.0PR and I have no problem with seti at all.

    I don't run Bionic though, just Seti Classic :)

    Boinc and classic = apples and oranges !!
    Boinc will just not run on my AMD machine.
    Going to try it on my Shuttle P4 again. Ran ok last time I tried.
    Went back to classic because Boinc was not ready for "prime time".
