Is any notification available to me?

    I am a newbie and after reading numerous threads, I've about decided that notifications are something I'm going to have to do without. I'm using Vista Home Premium so I think that means that the Windows Messenger option is not available to me and I also use a web-based email address (Gmail) which I've read ATI won't work with. Am I out of luck?

    You are subscribing to those threads you want notifications for? Subscription is not an automatic thing, and you won't get any notifications without it.

    I was not referring to forum activity, but rather, the notifications that Acronis TI puts out using either email or Windows Messenger after a backup is completed.
