Since yesterday, I have been getting BSODs titled INVALID_PROCESS_ATTACH_ATTEMPT. The only thing on my system that has changed are the Patch Tuesday updates and an NVIDIA GeForce driver update v441.66. These are the Windows Updates. Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4530684) Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64 (KB4533002) Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - December 2019 (KB890830) It's the first time that I have encountered this particular BSOD. I have restored my computer back to Monday and have not installed Windows Updates or the NVIDIA GeForce driver update since restoring. So far, no BSODs. Has anyone experienced INVALID_PROCESS_ATTACH_ATTEMPT BSODs before? Edit: I have since reinstalled my NVIDIA GeForce driver update v441.66 with no problem. I have paused Windows Updates. I think it was KB4530684 causing the problem as I have seen other reports of BSODs/crashes.
