That means that all is well...which is good!
I think you have the free version, in this case Edge will identify threats in realtime or during a scan, but will not prevent them from loading or removing.
For complete features (block and removing malwares) you need the Pro version.
If you have a payed version Pro you can easily remove malicious software
Edge is a CIPS based on comunity database; here more information about the program
False one, and it seems it is always slysoft. But your support is still the best in the world

thanks sounds good
Are you using the paid version or the free version?
Thanks for your help, but I believe that this is a Prevx issue. Also, I'm using Vista.
We haven't had any other reports of the tray icon disappearing so I think we're just going to have to keep an eye on it
what about having the prevx self protection on medium is it recomended this way when for example you have a firewall on?
Medium is the recommended self protection level but you can safely put it on Minimum if you do experience any incompatibility
if i have prevx edge can i also run prevx2?why and why not?any benefits?
You can but the only benefit would be to run 2.0 in either Pro or Expert mode n the benefit would be havin a classical HIPS alongside Edge
FP when trying to install Mozilla Sunbird Calendaring app...
Should I send the scanlog to the last address/person I worked with last week? Just pm me pls to let me know...
paid version,i ask cause i am new to this tecnologgy
When scanning with MBAM edge realtime (setting euristic High ; age Medium; Popularity Medium) say that this in a virus
but is a Online Armor safe file
Can control & fix? Thanks
Can you PM or email me a scan log?
i have same set up as you inone of my pc's mbam and prevx edge same set up and configuration as you mention for prevx protection and sometimes scaning both at same time prevx and mbam with no isues
note:it is a good idea to add your apps to prevx edge white list to avoide conflics
Edge still seems to be monitoring after right clicking it's tray icon and disabling?
Still picked up the install of a new rogue AV but didn't flag the installer.
That is interesting! I cannot reproduce this behaviour how ever hard I try. Are you using the latest build (188.8.131.52)? Once you had selected the period of time to suspend Edge did you then click 'Stop Edge Protection' again? A silly question I know but I have done this, ie, failed to do that and therefore Edge was not disabled.
There are two levels of being disabled in Edge - you can enter Install Mode (which is the default) or you can completely disable Edge if you click the dropdown box. Install Mode will just disable the age/spread/advanced heuristics but leave on the main protection of Edge.
Ah, got it thanks.
@ Baldrick, yep latest version.
I am getting a malware detection from Prevx Edge and I'm wondering if it's a false positive? The file name is regplib.exe and it's located in the Windows\system32 folder. Scans with AVG and MBAM do not flag this file. Google was not very helpful either. Any thoughts? The OS is Windows 7 beta (32 bit).
I've PM'd you my email address
