have you updated OSS to the latest release? would you consider, just for giggles uninstalling OSS (temp)? i think the latest update could be unstable. i had all sorts of problems attempting to use that update, including FDISR not working (VSS would not start).

    merely a thought, however.

Well, I have had no problem with the latest version so far. It does not conflict with anything, even with SD, lol. It works great alongside Prevx Edge anyway.

yeah, i am nearly convinced that a lot of this software has 'selective cognition' built in, where the software just randomly chooses people and machines to f_ _k with!

Still going strong here as well...in fact so strong that I have almost forgotten that it is installed. ;)

So much so that I am whistfully looking forward to beta testing some of the new features that Joe has hinted at! :D

Thought I'd seen somewhere on the net that program could be purchased for $19.95. Have tried searching for it but no luck. Anyone have a link to this offer? Joe?

I don't think that is the price anywhere - could you direct me to where you saw it?

Forget where I saw it, but should have jumped on it at the time. Thought someone else had seen it, thus the post.

Saw a recent ad for Prevx Edge at 19.95, but it was in pounds sterling. :)

Aha :D That would make sense (however, with the way the pound has been going that may soon be a good deal for US users :D)

Nope, it specifically stated, "Normal price is $29.95. You pay $10.00 off, final cost is $19.95". We're talking U.S. dollars, nothing else. Anyway, I solved the problem by renewing 6 months early on 1 machine, but renewed for 1 year for 2 computers and came up w/a terrific price. My deal is DONE, but if I come across that ad, will definitely post the link!

To PrevxWebDesigner, Joe stated the tray icon can not be made bigger, but, can the pale color of green be changed to be more like the green of Prevx. A little more pronounced.

Maybe - as long as you change your avatar so it isn't using the old Prevx logo ;)

in "my" italian thread about Edge some KIS2009 users said that KIS does not want other products in realtime and then they use Edge in CIS version to avoid problems.
There are any incompatibilities between KIS and EDGE running their own realtime ?
    Thanks
    (Sorry for my english)

There are no known compatibilities between KIS and Edge, but for some reason KIS will refuse to install if you have CSI or Edge already installed (we've reported this to them). However, if you uninstall CSI/Edge and then install KIS, you can install CSI/Edge on top of it without any problems :)

    Tray icon missing again.

I'm using my XP laptop at the moment & just noticed that I have the old tray icon missing thing again - using 3.0.1.17. I disabled, saved then enabled & saved the tray icon & it's back again.

Kis users reported problems concerning slow system on Vista 32 bit with PC clean ,fresh install.
Edge is in the whitelist of Kis (esclusion mask they said, I don't use Kis) , but the system is slow even on pc as:
acer 6292 cpu 4 giga ram cpu T7500
Asus 4 giga ram, cpu q6600
    Vista Business 32 bit

No problem on the same with XP, but with Vista the system is slow and repeat this is on new installed system and Edge in the white list.
Someone with the same problem ? Can you check again Kiss + Edge on Vista pkease ?

Just the opposite for me. I'm just started running KIS2009 with Edge on a Vista 32 machine and it's running as light (if not lighter) as any other combo I've tried.

My only issue was as quoted elsewhere I had to uninstall/reinstall Edge to install KIS.

    Cheers
