Thank you Zero3K, will fix it. Looks like it appears only in some browsers. For Backup Browser - I agree, will change it.

The "freezing on merging" issue happened again (using the new build that was released today). Here's a link to the Memory Dump of the program compressed as a ZIP:

    Zero3K,

Thank you very much, will check it. For Apple Time Capsule - I'm not sure, but if it can work as a network share (SMB) then it should be possible.

Isso, I'll be happy to test that version whenever it's ready, and congratulations on the 'birth of your baby'! ;)

On my XP system the AXTM XP recovery CD tells me my CD hex num is 90, which is not one of the 4 choices - 9F, EF, E0, 82, and picking any of those fails with a "missing or corrupt <windows root>\system32\hal.dll" message.

Luckily I had a Win8 system and I tried the AXTM recovery CD from Win8 and that seemed to work fine on my XP box.

Just the merging process. The AXTM console was responding fine, but the percentage completion stopped advancing. Even 3hrs later.

I just updated to the latest build and will report if it happens again.

I was wondering why GPT support was disabled? Was this an issue with the recovery USB stick option?
1.0.967 seemed to be working well on my Win8 box with GPT and UEFI if I booted from a recovery cd,
but I could not get it to boot from a USB stick, and did not investigate.

I just tried to restore the image I made a few days ago with AXTM on my Vista PC using an older build.
It worked just fine. So congrats on a excellent program.

The only strange thing I've found is that the installer didn't make any shortcuts.

i just observed than when doing a clean install of v.996 or upgrade to it from last version , the files of old win7 (current OS) snapshots are no more displayed in the right side panel, but those of Win8, located art the same location are...

    Isso,

Can you explain the recommended use for a SINGLE DRIVE system? This includes a laptop using a single SSD with NO other internal or external drives or a mini-system in which there is ONLY A SINGLE hard disk installed with NO other external (USB) drives.

For the single drive system, the backup will necessarily be ON THE SAME physical drive. Should the drive be partitioned into 2 partitions or should it be a single partition and let the backup or snapshot be stored in the same partition that is also being backed up? How does AX64 know not to "backup" and "take" snapshot of its own backups?

Hi Isso. Congrats on your milestone. I bet you thought this day was never going to come. :D

I've only got a minor issue to report. The watermark seems to be a little too small

    All the best!

Just add it to the boot.ini in the iso and you should be good to go.

Congratulations Isso on the first official birthday, and Thankyou

I suspect a lot of very long nights have gone into the whole process leading up to this point - but look where it`s led to, a little slice of brilliance has appeared....and it`s not difficult to see why people like this product.

Will be following the progress of AX64 into the future :thumb:

    (ps. no issues with v996)

If your backing up to an external drive, the snapshots don't appear until you plug in the external drive.
