    Hi Froggie

Was not aware of this option. Where do you find it/access it from if you want to use it o_O

When you select a snapshot for restoration and <click> RESTORE, the next Window (Confirmation) has an "Advanced" button in the lower left hand corner of the window. This contains that option... along with a few other things.

Thank you Isso, I sent you a PM.

    and two more issues ;)

    1. Could anyone confirm if you guys can make a description of snapshot that contains more than 500 signs? I don't actually remember how many signs I could add, but my description was trimmed in some particular moment.

    2. I don't remember to what version is it connected, but last time I couldn't recover my snapshot from one of newest version recovery media. It looked like I click recover button, and nothing has happened. Hopefully I had also v1096 DVD - that version worked fine.

    Anyone encountered such problems?

Mornin' Boss! Based on some of the questions I get concerning AX64 TM, I have been sending folks to the User's Manual. BUT... the displays (window captures) aren't keeping up with the product releases so the manual engenders additional questions.

I know it's a pain but is there anyway the manual can be kept up with the product release... it might make it easier for a lot of the more knowledgeable folks on this forum to help others in need.

    Now... back to my COFFEE!

    support for multiple partitions

    Dear Isso,
Could you provide us with (a very rough, if necessary) time frame for the release of a version ('Pro', perhaps) that will include support for multiple partitions?

    Hi Froggie

Thanks for the precision. I will look out for this as and when I next restore.

    Regards, Balders

    Dearest Isso,

Kudos to you and your team for such an excellent software. You have finally ironed out almost all of the bugs, and at the same time made the software much faster at backups.

    Best regards,

    Mohamed

    Hi Isso,

I have restored successfully, but I cannot remind, whether I have checked the first two boxes under "Advanced".

Can I see in a logfile, whether I have checked these boxes?

    Many thanks
    Thomas

    Guys,

We released new update 1.2.1120 that adds Explorer++ to the Recovery Media and fixes a couple of bugs. Please update from www.ax64.com and re-create your recovery media.

    Isso

PS: I'll address all questions a little later. Thank you

Boot thumbdrive created with build 1120 on my Win8 desktop still blue screens. I have to use the ISO created with my Win7 laptop. Do you need an updated ISO from me or is the told one still good to work on?

KelvinW4, I would be careful using ANY "lite virtualization" software with AX64 TM. Since AX64 TM uses a live tracking file to keep track of snapshot status, this most likely will be affected by the snapback of the LV software. AX64 warns of this in a compatibilty article about Shadow Defender.

Personally, I find it just as easy to use the snapshot capability of AX64 TM to return to a previous system state... it's speed is pretty decent.

This reminds me of a question I asked back in May. Does anyone know if AX64 is compatible with Faronic's Deep Freeze?

    Thanks a bunch people,

I have now replaced my new faulty HD and pleased to report that 1120 is working fine so far.

    Isso

How many partitions can 1120 track now. I have tried 4 and it seems to have lost track of the first one. Am I pushing it too hard?

    artoor,

    1. Max description length is 1000 characters. There is a counter that shows how many are left as you type (on the bottom).

    2. 1.2.1020 solves this issue.

    Re: support for multiple partitions

    Dear Norman,

I can only give a very rough estimate of 2-3 months, sorry for not being able to give more precise time frame.

Sorry about it Marc, indeed we haven't yet worked on that issue. I'll let you know as soon as we have more information about it.
