Happy new year first of all :D,

and then let me ask, why there seems to be no Webroot Secure Anywhere version Internet Security Plus anymore (visibly promoted)? Only Antivirus and Complete?

There is still the holiday-discount link (and I will probably use that), yes, but if I go straight to webroot.com there are only 2 Editions on sale? What is going on? And why? o_O

I am thinking about buying the 3 license version and also do wonder if those deal discounts are available here in Germany too? ("Offered in the 50 U.S...")

p.s.: And also I would like to know if payment via Paypal is possible? Or is credit card mandatory?

Well, so far I haven't been able to find a reseller for Germany and the german website of Webroot seems to have for some unknown but surely idiotic reason only the business version available.

Would be good for Webroot if they would decide to sell their products in Germany. I mean to private customers like me. Else you could have spared yourself the hassle with the translation, right? - Also please keep in mind that outside of U.S. - or at least in Germany - credit cards are not used as much and Paypal would be a good thing to have available.

I have to say I don't understand why after so many months the german website doesn't offer Secure Anywhere for consumers. That's a pretty bad and very dumb decision and well ... if you don't want our money you won't get it, simple as that.

I won't buy anything that is (far more) expensive than what US deals are (in Euro), especially since license comes per mail. And I won't of course accept if you have deals for U.S. ONLY but not for me here in Europe.

If there is really no way for me to get one of those deals before they end you probably will lose me an my whole family as customers. But whatever Webroot or the guy in charge decides.

But thanks for your answer, Joe.

If anyone else knows a link where I can buy from Germany and get the discount please let me know. - I wonder how much they could earn if Webroot weren't trying to stop customers from buying (as it seems). And having a german translation but not selling the enduser product on german website is to me ... o_O o_O  - Someone should be fired, really! :thumb:

i see this also here in the us only two versions. as well as now i see a 6 month version of complete?? even if i go to the main webroot site and go to products in the drop down and select plus it still goes to the sale page with only the av or complete. for those looking for plus it seems there is no way for them to buy it from webroot right now??

also can i verify the 2011 complete versions i have will ALWAYS stay complete and they will remain for the full 12 months as they are now?? with the changes seemingly going on i dont want these to change to anything otherwise. thank you

"Offered in the United Kingdom ..." -> so not for customers from Germany or rest of Europe? And I imagine, if I could buy in UK I could do it also in U.S.? But can I? Could someone from Webroot please clarify?

And also I would like to know why Webroot "branch" Ireland/Europe doesn't have the discount? - Frankly I don't like that price policy of unjustified disparity in that otherwise always called "global world" at all and figure either Europe is an unimportant market to Webroot or they think we here are dumb enough to pay more than others.

I like WRSA for it's lightness but I won't be treated differently ("no product in Germany available" or "no discount for Germans available") than others. If that happens - and this is the last chance for Webroot to offer me something here! - I go elsewhere and you have lost me, my family and my relatives to your competition, sorry.

And if this isn't exactly what Webroot wanted you should really think about firing the person who is responsible for Webroots "marketing" (-> anti-marketing).

I am waiting for an offer to buy licenses with the discount from Germany. But now not for long anymore. Just so that you know, Webroot.

It's probably worth trying if you can buy from the UK site. It's normal for different countries to have different deals/promotions to go in line with other marketing activities and local schedule differences.
