This time the need is for a Security Suite for an XP 32bit PC. Oh...... and light on RAM....please. (And not too costly either). I'm thinking Kaspersky (KiS). What do you guys think?

I hear you. But things aren't appreciated nor respected as they should be when they're free.

I just spent some time with PandaCloud AV. Soopa light free version. Great for us XP'ers but too much moolah for the premium.

If I were running XP I would spend money on either sandboxie or defensewall and get free av like avast or mse. I think either sandboxie or defensewall would serve you better on xp.

Its not 4 me. Its gotta be simple sweet & quiet. And not a mish-mash of programs. Myself I'm all 4 SBiE etc (and now Pandafreecloud AV). This is for my sister. I setup SBiE etc for her but its been thrown back. Gotta be an Internet Secuirity Suite. e.g. KiS 2012.

Yii. my thread is against the rules? My mistake. Just trying to short circuit doing trials as I've become a non-av enthusiast for sometime & I'm out of date with suites.
