Exactly this is the reason why i started using Firefox years ago, i think it was called Phoenix back then, i got sick and tired of the constant flood of holes in IE.
And now they are gonna make their OS unuseable aswell.

    So it's of to LINUX.

Nonsense EriK!...........You have years more experience of computing than me and that means more experience to draw on.

If you can read and write then you can set up the new Linux systems.
Yes it is very different to Windows and there is a lot to learn,it will take me a long time to become proficient in its use BUT installing and setting up Xandros was far and away easier than Windows XP ,and very much quicker.

From start to being connected and receiving updates was @ 30 mins and I have only booted into XP twice since..............if I can do it then you certainly can.

Have a look at some of the live CDs ,it, well worth it.;)

We must not forget that even FF and Opera have highly critical bugs once in a while. But of course there are probably less people trying to exploit them since these browsers have a smaller userbase. And besides, Maxthon is IMO the best browser at the moment, so FF and Opera are no solution for me. ;)
