Interactive Filtering Mode
states:
The personal firewall will evaluate all network communication attamepts based on the rules which have been defined ..... where no rules have been defined, the user will ask which action should be taken.

When in this mode:
- Cannot disable firewall? (remains ticked)
- Cannot create custom rules = (error message) failed to change settings
- Cannot permanently create rules associated with the firewall (only temporary rules allowed)
- Cannot allow sharing in a Home or Public Network when the network is detected = failed to make changes

So what am I doing wrong?
Version 4 just worked with little to no issues?

Why is the program failing to accept new rules and filters?

NB Just tried the same setup on my partners computer Ver 5.0.95.0- it works perfectly

 

For what it's worth to anyone, a complete uninstall and re-install fixed the issue.
