In intenet explorer, once someone has deleted their internet history and cleared all temporary internet files and cooked (tools-->internet options etc), is there any way of retrieving the internet history for this computer?

    How?

    Any good programs to use?

That depends on a number of things, including

Which version of Windows and IE?

Were they logged in as a different user to yourself? Or are you actually talking about yourself? If so, how long ago, computer usage, were the details deleted? Has anyone logged in as that particular user since the detailes were deleted?

How badly is the information needed?

Depending on the above, you can usually trace usage from other places such as the page file, some recently-used entries in the registry and files, recent favourites, recent downloaded program files and many other locations. If desperate, an undelete utility can be run and the data that was deleted can be reinstated quite easily. A serious recovery will involve using a separate operating system run from a CD and running several "forensic" utilities to discover the usage history and much more.

As I said, it all depends - if you're merely curious, then the forensic approach is a bit over the top...

Apologies for not being very brief, but I'd rather give an accurate reply ;)
