Intel takes hands way off approch to Vista.

    apparently intel only started fully adopting to XP in 2006 5 years after release.
    so with windows 7 coming out in the not so distant future makes sence to skip it.

    Lot of smart people work at "intel", they know a "duck" when they see one and Vista walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck.

    I notice the only people that never have any problems with Vista are the ones that have 4gb of RAM and dual-cores and a 300 dollar video card.

    Maybe I need to spend 700 dollars to upgrade my computer so It can use a 300 dollar operating system. I'll have to do a cost-analysis.

    Not really, 2GB RAM and a $150 graphics card (as long as its DX10 compliant) will do you fine.....

    But yeah, I agree, Vista is a resource behemoth compared to XP.....
