My system is not RAID, should I disable this from starting with windows?
Would like to know this myself
I think IRS can be uninstalled without causing problems, although don´t see the point of doing it, as long as you don´t uninstall the drivers for the SATA controller. I would create a backup first.
From my experience, I´d say that it´s not a good idea to meddle with Intel programs and drivers, especially if you don´t have problems with them.
I just stopped it from starting with windows, as I read Win10 has this driver already. The win10 driver with the same function I believe is called ACHI. I'll restart it & see if I notice any slowdowns or speedups.
Thanks! It's on & I'll keep it on
