    If I find that I need to restore a backup made with TI10, I'll just use my TI 10 recovery CD.

    Hello bulldog356,

    I'm not sure that you understand what has been reported in this thread.

    You can restore an image created via TI 10 using TI 11's bootable rescue CD but you may not be able to restore an image created via TI 11 using TI 10's rescue CD.

    Let me be a little more explicit:

    Either version 11 uses a new tib format (in which case Mustang is correct) or it does not (in which case Allen is correct).

    Other system-related variables do not concern me, I'm mainly focused on finding out if a tib format change occured.
