Installing OS's

    Under normal circumstances if ME, 98, or 95 is/are installed after installing XP, the boot sector of XP will be overwritten. Is this true if Acronis is installed? Can I safley install earlier versions of windows, or for that matter any other OS's, without damaging the XP boot sector?

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis Multiboot Managing Software.

    Acronis OS Selector does allow you to install any number of operating systems in any order you wish. It arranges separate configuration for each system so that there is no limitation connected with the installation order. Please read User's Guide (point 8.2) for the instructions on how to install new operating system using Acronis OS Selector.
