Read Marcos' post number four. Rename the XML place it in the folder and run setup.

    Extra settings for NOD32 v2.5

Are these tweaks obsolete with 2.7?

    Hi guys,

    Happy new year!

No. First of all, there's no need for you to "unistall" your current instalation (asuming you already have nod32 installed). When upgrading you are asked to "Keep your current config". e.g i upgraded in this way and hardly notice the diferense.

New feature on v2.7 (eg. Anti-Stealth) is ACTIVATED by default. The others was a kind of option rename.

Unfortunenally, i still don't have the tool to edit this .xml file and make the change for you to use with v2.7 new installs Sorry for that :ouch:. oh wait!! maybe i'd ask for the tool.

    Cheers!

Did I miss it? Must have.
Is there a real, [how to], use and install with these "xtra" pre-configured settings? If so, I missed it in this thread. Is there a thread that has the real [how to]?
Would like to try it just once. Would like to add amps to this!
No luck so far. W2K just does not like an "install.bat" from live or F8 Safe CMD Mode so far.
I know. I'm probably really lame ATM.
    Thanks,
    Duncan

I have split your post out of this thread and created the below thread for further assistance.

Is there an alternate repository to obtain the nod32config_en.zip file? The link in the first post on Page 1 is still down. Thank you.
