Installation problem of TI 8

    Hi

    I can't install the programm. It hangs while trying installing the drivers.

    System is XP with SP2

    Anybody else with problems?

    Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

    Please right click on the installation package, choose "Properties" -> "Version" tab and see what number is stated as "File version". If it is not 8.0.0.800 please create your new account at http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/my/registration/ and then register your product at http://www.acronis.com/my/products/registration/ After that please download the latest build from http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/support/updates/ and try to install it.

    If the problem persists please boot into Safe mode (press F8 when Windows starts up) and disable your antivirus software temporarily and try to install Acronis True Image once again.

    Installation Problem solved.

    I had to deinstall the true image 8 program and before reinstalling I had to allow the setup.exe via DEP (Data execution prevention from Windows XP).

    I could now install the programm without troubles. But that's unfortunately not the only problem (see next post)
