install LILO on a new hard drive

    Hi!

    Have to repair a DVR (Digital Video Recorder): EDR1600. it uses a software called EDR1600, a kind of Linux-based operating system. I saw "... LILO" when startup...

    i think a need to format the new hard drive with linux file system ¿ext3? and install LILO

    do you know how?
