    Hi Spy1

How would you say Index.dat suite compaires to Eraser and 3S? Two other free History/cookie/cache eraser programs.

I'd probably say "Apples & Oranges". To the best of my (very admittedly) limited knowledge, Index.dat Suite doesn't "erase" it "deletes" - two entirely different kettles of fish.

I'm using it specifically for the index.dat files it finds only - once it finds them and deletes them and runs the scandisk, I use either Eraser or NecroFile to wipe the free space. Pete

Index.dat Suite is definitely worthy of a "thumbs up".
I have been checking it out for a few days and it's impressive for a free program!
The viewing feature is excellent!Index.dat Suite gives a much more detailed view of the index.dat files than SuperCleaner does.
The scanning feature is a lot faster than I expected also.
It appears to do a very good job.
