This may seem like a strange question.
If I do a full C: partition (with operating system) image and then incremental backups. What happens if I get a virus during one of the incremental backups but the original full backup is clean. Can I restore just the original full image and not the incremental images, one of which contains the virus? If so, how?

    Hope this makes sense
    Thanks

    Hello Rod,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

The main point of incremental images is the situation you have described. You may restore the image from any point (any incremental or full image). When you choose the image file (any of the set) you will be given a list of possible restoration points.

    Thank you.
