    So..? If a threat got past an AV to disable it, it already failed. No one cares if it can disable the AV or not. It's useless as soon as the threat runs.

    does the difference in timeframe mean anything. I mean the longer it took would there have been a chance or even knowledge for a user to intervene.

    Who can tell but the user will have more time to save open documents, close open programs and prepare for restoring clean image of the hard disk. :D

    i dont think it makes much difference in time so that you could intervene, but it shows quality of build i think. as already said, if a virus got on your computer undetected, your av has failed already, never mind if it can be disabled: whether or not its disabled, its not getting detected.
