    Hi,

    My configuration is:

Hamster (Mail & News server) is fetching my mails and news to my local
computer and acts as a local mail/smtp/news server at address 127.0.0.1 and with usual service ports (110,119,25).

I tried to install NOD32 as my virus scanner but I'm getting some strange effects when enabling the IMON module in NOD32.

After enabling the module, Hamster gives a socet error when trying to fetch... NEWS?... The POP3 fetching is not affected anyways, but this is probably because I use SSL (port 995) when fetching mail.

So why socket error when trying to start NNTP fetching, even when the Hamsters local NNTP server has already started OK and got port 119? (this is; I can contact the server 127.0.0.1:119 OK).

    Regards,
    Ommik
