    Hi,

Is it possible to image a Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 server with the TrueImage non-server (read home) edition (via the Bootable Rescue Disk method).

Do I need the Server edition to do this or.. ??

    Hello Ramonitor,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Yes, you may create the image of the partition (disk) after booting from Acronis True Image Bootable CD.

However, there are a lot of advantages you could obtain if you install Acronis True Image 8.0 Server. Every new build we release (you may download it for free from our site http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/support/updates/) has some bugs fixed. You may update your Acronis Bootable CD if you have the software installed.

Also Acronis exclusive technology allows you to create images without rebooting the computer (it is very important for servers). You may also schedule image creation in the way you need and even set up notifications via e-mail or winpop up.

Acronis True Image 8.0 Server supports tape drives. It also allows you to work with dynamic disks.

You can get more info concerning Acronis True Image 8.0 Server at http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATISWin/

The easiest way to purchase this product is our on-line store http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/sales/online/

    Thank you.
