Great. If you create your backups into \TeraByte_TBI_Backups...

    ...the backups will be protected.

I don't use ProtectIt or Image Guardian.

If you search for ProtectIt in Services, you won't find it. It's hidden.

They will be protected from EVERYTHING not done by IFW. So, images cannot be altered, deleted, copied, etc. This goes beyond even Macrium's Image Guardian. The catch, however, is that images need to be stored in a root directory named "\TeraByte_TBI_Backups"

You absolutely should. It's dumb not to.

That is why I never saw/used it. When I run IFW, I always saved my images to a USB drive.

Fair enough. I guess I look at it like having a staircase without a railing. Dumb. Eventually, you're going to wish you had a railing.

For ease of upgrades, I always keep a previous version in my TBWinRE_Files folder.

Then I simply copy and replace TBWinPE.ini, the config folder, then edit my BOOTWIM CMD file and change it to the current version.

    I then run TBWinPE.exe.
    Done.

    TBWinRE_Files.png

My TBLauncher custom programs are in the CustomProg folder.

I copy tbwinre from C:\Program Files (x86)\TeraByte Drive Image Backup and Restore Suite to
    D:\My_files\TBWinRE_files

Then tbwinre is renamed to 405re (say).

    TBWinPE.ini and ifw.ini are copied into 405re.

    Double click tbwinpe.exe
This creates a config folder in 405re

BuildScript.cmd and TBLauncher.ini are copied into config folder

    Then continue as usual.

If you want to make a 405pe, copy 405re and rename it 405pe. Double click tbwinpe.exe and continue as usual. The ini files don't need to be changed.

I have a Robocopy BuildScript.cmd in the config folder for my custom programs in TBLauncher. TBLauncher.ini is also in there. But it's the same as my regular builds that I do for UFDs and ISOs.
The only change to TBWinPE.ini is BuildScript=1 in the [Options] section.

    I keep my latest....

    TBWinPE.ini, ifw.ini, BuildScript.cmd and TBLauncher.ini

....to be used with the next tbwinre.

Hadron, are you using an old tbwinre with your builds? You seem to be updating 404RE to 405RE.

I use a new tbwinre for every new version update. I just rename it.

It's interesting what you can do with these files. I copy mine to a SSD partition and boot it with BIU.

    Code:
    sub main()
     ext("open fs 0: 4 0x06")
     ext("dir 0:")
     printl("Type exit to continue")
     ext("interactive")
     ext("RD 0: /s /y")
     printl(" ")
     ext("copy D:\My_files\TBWinRE_files\405re\ISO\* 0:\ /s /y")
     ext("set vol TBWinRE405 0:")
     printl(" ")
     ext("dir 0:")
     printl(" ")
     ext("close fs 0:")
    end sub

I am in the process of a full backup, but I noticed that the C: drive is diminishing. How do I enlarge this partition?

Tarnak, in the orange text section, can you click the + next to HD 0 and show us what's in that drive?

Do you have PartWork for Windows or BIU?

I have a license for AOMEI Partition Assistant 10.2.1, but I have not this, yet. Seems like it might be useful.

No problem. Start IFW, click Backup, Full.
HD 0 should be open at the top of the IFW window. Screenshot it.

P.S. My modem has been disconnecting, all day long. Very unusual, since it hasn't dropped or needed a reboot in months.

Do you have BIU? If not open AOMEI and look at HD 0. We need to know the amount of Free Space in each partition.

Windows Disk Management won't be as good as AOMEI or BIU.
