I don't feel like I have a clear answer to this. If I have images of several partitions on my current hard drive, then drive fails and I replace it with a new, larger one, and partition it. will Image for Windows restore to the new partitions? Or will it have issues trying to do this?

    trigent,

Quick answer. No problems at all.

You don't even need to create partitions on the new HD. Just restore the images to unallocated space and the TeraByte software will let you resize each restored partition as you go.

For full drive images you can select the Scale to Fit option to have the partitions automatically expanded to fit on the new drive.

sounds good. I was considering something like paragon drive disk manager just for the ability to set up a new drive at the same time as restoring images, should the situation arise.

sounds like I don't need to bother with it.

    thanks.
