Image (clone to other machine)

    Can I use Acronos to clone from my desktop to my laptop?

    When you clone you're going to get all the hardware drivers that are installed for the machine from which you are cloning. IF the new machine has diff hardware, then the drivers are not going to work correctly.

    You can do a windows repair install and install the new needed driver at the appropriate point whenit asks if you have drivers to install.

    You can do a windows sysprep before cloning, which will strip out the hardware drivers, which might make installing new drivers easier on the new machine.

    Note that if you have an OEM version of Windows, it's probably not licensed to be migrated to anew machine, so your windows license won't work on the new machine/
