I agree, the security risk is the user itself. :D

I think Zuckerberg must be ashamed of himself, for producing such crap, it´s a ridiculously bad designed website. It constantly freezes the system on my old PC. :thumbd:

Just look at vk.com, that´s how it´s supposed to be, a nice and snappy website. :thumb:

Btw, I use FB only to check out hot women. ;)

Fake Name Generator registration under VPN/Tor. Post like you're someone else in a different writing.

Or you could just give in to the fact that the Internet is a public place, and you're already monitored in real life anyways.

Envy and all the other emotions are part of the human condition and have existed since the dawn of mankind so blaming facebook seems a bit ridiculous to be honest.

We as individuals are in control of our own emotions and do not need social networking sites to provoke these emotions.

We attempt to make the internet as private as possible and yet we laud a website which goes against every individuals privacy on a global scale.

    Most bizarre.

    And the answer is...

    :D :D :D

But seriously though, I never liked their policy. Even some of my friends which will be considered as kids/immature by some people here don't like it as well.

To my friends: No, I don't consider you guys as kids and/or immature. Peace mates. :D

    Another point

Facebook can get your arrested and prosecuted and a criminal record

All it takes is one chat window and one comment to destroy your life.

How's that different that one wrong action anywhere else?
Get caught on camera urinating on a statue or beating someone?
Get caught trying to fraud someone?
    Get caught cheating?
    One act.

How's Facebook special, except that MORONS like to incriminate themselves?

    Cheers,
    Mrk

I just forced myself to watch "The Social Network" on TV, which for those that don't know is a film about how facebook was born etc. What an annoying creep Zuckerberg is, that speaks @ 100 MPH with such a whiny voice. I didn't realise that the guy who started Napster wormed his way into getting 7% of FB. And what a nasty piece of work he is too.

Thank goodness i never felt the need to sign my life away :D

After all, Facebook was funded by the CIA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xk3I-a3CJdo :)

I'm going to transition over to those. Let's be honest. Most of my so-called "friends" on Facebook I barely know. I only have a handful of actual friends and those can easily be communicated by other means.

I'm glad that I don't have to transition away from Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, G-mail, etc. The same applies to portable internet devices. Never had a need for them. I just don't see being connected or reachable 24/7 as necessary or even desirable.

Regarding Facebook and staying in contact with friends, if someone can't be bothered to a phone, e-mail, or use something other than Facebook, they aren't much of a friend.

I agree with the bold part.

Most of your Facebook "friends" aren't actually your friends. They are just stalkers. Just like everyone else on Facebook. And the biggest stalker of them all on Facebook is Mark Zuckerberg and the NSA.

    Congrats !!!

I never became a member of that horrid site.

Many folks I've known got bonuses from using it...extreme malware=> great, Aye ?

I've watched others waste their lives and have their REAL friends fade away due to neglect as they got sucked into that fake 'world'.

An easy way to avoid it:
Just translate it's name to 'fecesbook' whenever it comes up in thought.

Whether it is actually a spy site or just something that poops all over people's lives - it is still best avoided IMO.

I salute you for such a wise choice !!!

I tried all the above in vain with the only result of having two representatives of FP arriving at my door to physically persuade me to sit down at my laptop and renew my FB account.

Oh well such is life....you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave.:(
