    BTW I would go for Avira Antivir Premium.

    I don't think that people have financial problems buying any security product (single licence) so this thread (if kept alive) will only end up with answers saying people's favourites.

    if I had to use a paid software I would use Avira Antivir Premium. It has big malware database, excellent heuristics and generic detection, behavior blocking, it is modular, light and cheap. :p

    Almost the same reasons for Avast Pro. But, it is little expensive in my opinion (20 euros is the limit for me :D )

    I'd get Prevx. Why? I consider it overpriced and will never buy it with the current prices.

    A poll topic which should look like a ordinary thread, but only because the thread starter states it's a ordinary thread, which should not end up as A vs B, but surely will.
    Why not make a poll instead of a closed thread?

    Kaspersky Internet Security. Good detection, Good firewall, Good HIPS. Nice bright and shiney light thingy on main page.
