Thanks to all the knowledge available here I was able to rid my PC of that nasty little searchx bug, many, many thanks! I am still experiencing problems with IE6 however. I nuked IE with IEradicator and did a clean install (with all the windows updates), however, I am still getting freeze-ups when downloading program files. The status bar starts very slowly and stalls after about 30 secs to 1 minute, when I hit the stop button I get "Internet Explorer has experienced a problem and needs to close". I have been sending error reports when prompted. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
