IE View - IE View Lite - IE Tab

Theres IE View, IE View Lite and IE Tab for Firefox.

I used IE View a while ago. But what is the difference between these? They do excactly the same?

Which one do you recommend?

 

Of the three, IE Tab seems to be the most popular.

 

IE View Lite

IE View and IE View Lite just open the url in a new IE window. IEtab opens a tab in Firefox that uses teh IE engine.

IEtab is what I use and I find quite handy.

 

I think IE Tab is more useful since you're not having an Internet Explorer window open as well as Firefox. The IE rendered page can be viewed within Firefox.

I will try IE Tab, and if it works for me I will use it.

 

It's worth pointing out to anyone unfamiliar with any of these add-ons, IE is just as vulnerable as it normally is. Firefox provides NO extra level of protection against bad ActiveX and so forth. So use with care... (I use IE Tab myself.)

 

IE Tab is listed as having a memory leak. It's suggested that folks move to IE View Lite.
