What happens if an idle scan is in progress (scan with screensaver for instance) and then a user logs in and the screensaver is gone then does the scan stop?

    Hello Alith

Idle scan will stop when you reactivate your pc, from a mode of e.g. screensaver, or user logoff.(if you will, you can enable logging under Idle State Scan, if you want to see when Eset has done a complete Idle state scan.)

So once the screensaver comes back on, it will resume the scan at the point it was at before it was interrupted?

    Hi Alith

It looks as it resumes idle state scanning when it re-enter, e.g. screensave mode again. (My assumption is just based on my logs). It would be nice and appreciated if Eset could let us know if it is so.

    Regards, Janus

Thanks for the information Janus. I did find the documentation about this feature rather lacking.
