Icons blinking

    After each virus signature database update my desktop and quicklaunch bar icons are blinking is it just me ? Is this really needed by the virus database update process ?

    could you please send us short video how icons are blinking? I have never seen that.

    Not that easy to capture a video just while there is a virus database update ! It is just like a icon refresh in the desktop and in the quicklaunch bar. It takes let than a sec. This is of course not a big issue but just wondering if this is really necessary and in such a case what is the need for that ?

    It could be windows restarting the service after update. if its a quick flash and that's it. not a continuous flash.

    This assumption sounds possible to me. Is therer a desktop icons blink on each service restart ? Don't know.
