i have taken a couple of precautions since last week i was forced to backup all the important stuff on my harddrive due to trojans...i looked up spyware on the web and came across two very useful utilities...ad-aware and spywareblaster...ad-aware just found this file "IadHide3.dll" on my harddrive and i deleted it...unfortunately spywareblaster didnt catch it in time...im not complaining...just thought id drop a line to anyone out there paying attention...maybe this is one that needs to be added to the next update...toodles...im off to find out what i can about this file...woofwoof

    Hi puppy38,

Iadhide dll´s belong to Backweb (spyware). You can find some info here: http://www.cexx.org/dlgli.htm
SpywareBlaster only prevents ActiveX installs which Backweb does not use. In fact I removed it a few days ago after installing Kodak software for my digital camera  You might want to scan for spyware with Spybot S&D: http://spybot.eon.net.au/
