I don’t understand this promotion email from Eset

    Hi !
    I’ve a valid and healthy license of ESS5 installed on my two computers...everything work smoothly... (it’s a 2 computers licenses)

    A received this afternoon, in my email inbox, a promotion message from Eset for a free upgrade to ESS 5! And my ESS5 licences information (same username and password) show up in this email.

    It’s not a big deal but it confusing, it’s nice but why Eset offer me a free upgrade on a product that a already own a license on this product?...

    But I admit that sometime I use my ESS5 licence to a downgrade to NOD32 v5 , I don’t know if maybe this caused by that...

    Hello,

    My guess would be that you may have had a license at some point before V5 was released. Since you have already installed V5 you can ignore the email.
