Well i have follow and i just cant seem to understand how users says: NOD32 is the best choice NOD32 is the best antivirus ever, it is the lightest. "When i read in this forum and also at least 50 other forums people have problems everyday with NOD32, it could be update-problem, file-damage problem, uninstall/install-problem and much much more problems with NOD32 i've never seen in any forums that users have so much trouble with their antivirus example with KAV, F-Secure, BitDefender Avast, etc etc, only with NOD32. Wow just cant understand people how they have "Balls" to say NOD32 is the best, because "Eather i have a antivirus that maybe my computer does not go 100% fast but 90% and a antivirus that i dont have problem with, then NOD32 to always have problem," And also NOD32 it's known to give false positive. And NOD32 has alot of Weakness but i do not want to count up them now.
    well well, Enough now =)
    Cheers.:D

every AV has its own problem. you cant just pointed that NOD32 has many problem compared to other AV. Have you ever read Kaspersky Labs forum ? You can find there that KAV also has its problems.

yeah i know it. But only because the KAV released this new Beta version, but still i have never ever seen so much people that are using NOD32 have so much problem... Never seen on other forum for other Antivirus have so much problem like NOD32, i dont say that other AV does not have problem, yes they do but never like NOD32 because NOD32 has the most problem with their products. And the most problem is with upgrade / update and false positive, they add signatures like nutts but most of them are false... and many other things that i could count, but ehh i dont care so much, if people are so stu*** to choise that NOD32 let them do that then, but they will always have problem with their antivirus and computer as long as they have NOD32 on their computers...
Well well i wish them luck, but i would never choise a antivirus like NOD32, too much trouble, false , update problem, the installation is so confuised and everyday people found more and more problems with that program.
    Enough =)
Good luck then with u'r Nod

Yet it remains as one of the very best at what it does. The loyalty and fondness for the program that many users have is for a good reason(s). What exactly was your point besides the juvenile bashing?

You've all been sucked in by HatO. Most of what he says is unsubstantiated and simply an attempt to stir things up and it appears to have worked. Best to just ignore this thread.

Guess I'm lucky because I have yet to experience any problems or issues with it.

i used before myself Nod32 and i think it is a good antivirus, but it has also some weakness, and we cant say that it is the perfect antivirus! And Yes users that are using nod32 has more problem that users who use f-secure, Bitdefender, Dr.Web, VBA32, etc etc... you must confess this, there is nothing to be angry about it...
Thats just the way it is, nod32 has the most problem with their products. end of line. finish!

For the suspicious people that wonder about postings made and whether or not they are made by separate people, or one in the same person... The above postings by Hat0, Nick24 and Jack_31 are "all" the same person. Kinda makes you wonder about the true motives of a person when they post as separate identities to support their position, pretending to be separate people.

I have also tried many of the antiviral software’s on the market. For me NOD is the hands down winner. If NOD vanished tomorrow, God forbid. I would probably give my $ to Dr Web. Now quit trolling.

    Hat0, Nick24 or... maybe Jack_31 ? :D

I´ve used a lot, believe me, a lot of AVs (KAV, Bitdefender, Norton, McAfee, Trend, eTrust, Dr.Web, Panda, AVG, Avast, Antivir, F-Secure, F-Prot etc etc etc) and NOD32 is by far the most steady antivirus I have tried. By the way, this is one of the most important quality of NOD32. But my PC is not yours, and any antivirus may have problems when running any system. NOD32 is not perfect (no AV is perfect), but it´s the best, or at least one of the best.

That just goes to prove the point: "You're never alone with a schizophrenic."

Of all AV's, NOD32 and F-Prot are the ones I've had absolutely no problems with.
    Zip, zero, zilch, nada.

NOD32 is by far the best AV I had tried. I see that you don't really know how to use it, thus putting it at your disadvantage.

Obviously you don't do enough research to backup your claims or remarks. So what are you saying that no other AV software out there causes probs what so ever, its only NOD that is riddled with probs. And for those having probs with NOD who is to say that NOD is the prob and its not a fault with a setting with their PC or a misconfiguration with NOD. No matter what the problem is all AV software now and again will show some type of probs and like I said alot of the times the blame can also be in the setting of the AV prog itself or a bad setting in the PC itself.

NOD32 rarely ever gives false positives, infact its one of the very few that does not give false positives.

Why is NOD32 is one of the top AV:

    1. The most lightest on resources. Its written in machine code
    2. Has by far one of the best detection rates
    3. Has one of the fastest scan rates
    4. Updates a hell of a lot and silently as well
    5. Has never missed a beat when it comes to ITW detection
    6. Has always come out on top when it comes to testing by the VB. The No.1
    source of AV testing

    7. Cheaper than alot of other AV software out there and performs better in
    alot of other ways

    8. Its trojan detection is getting better and better by the day
    9. Its AV heuristics is A+
    10. Its ability to detect new viruses even before its been updated is A+

So my final answer here is stop worrying what others say about NOD32, if their having probs than thats their bad luck not yours. Perhaps others should learn how to clean up their backyard before putting the blame on something else.

An Yes I also do use Bitdefender Pro 9 and also swear by it, another very good package.

Try NOD32 yourself and I will guarantee you will not regret it.

    Hi,
    To calm the storm:
It's less important how buggy a program is.
It's more important how quickly the developers address the issues raised.
Software comes out - it must have problems. People will post about them in a forum. So wait 2-3 weeks to see if an update version comes out and what changes. That's the best way to judge software.

Indeed he has. He's a major royal pain in the butt for quite some time now.
He did the same with pushing Bitdefender here in the forum (with several registered nicknames, one of them was Sm0kie), abusing me with "fuk you" PM's here and other nice things :-* Best thing of all - he's using pirated AV software. You can google for this guy and you will find him providing Bitdefender 9 Serials in several forums. A great way to support a product!
Softwin will be very happy about such behavior.

Because life is getting boring even with this, the moronish pumpkim started a own bitdefender forum.

"Suprisingly" nobody is really interested to join a forum when the Admin has an Intelligence Quotient somewhere between sliced, watered toastbred and an ordinary glas ashtray
