They still face the same complications of catching people, whether they use state or Federal lawyers. One thing is for sure, knocking out thousands upon thousands of innocent websites to kill a handful of guilty ones...twice now...isn't going to give them the results they want. In fact, it's more likely to get them sued right back, and probably will end up doing exactly that. They don't get it, neither does Hollywood. Suing isn't going to stop a thing.

Video industry can't stop filesharing, no matter how hard they try, people will continue finding ways to circumvent it.

They better give up on this lost battle and invest their money in 3D cinema rooms all over the world and better license models to Television channels, for example, instead of expecting people to pay for watching their millionaire productions in small home screens.

In other words, they need to shift their focus.

BTW, those who still use P2P clients to download things really deserve to get sued IMO. :D

Actually investing in 3D cinemas would be suicidal, seeing as how 3D is already dying..again..not long after it just came back. Bringing it back was the dumbest of moves. Really the music and movie industry brought this mess on themselves long ago, don't just blame the downloaders. You do realize major sporting events cost television networks far more than movies, right?..far more.
