    Hi all.

I have a HP G62, one month old.
I just received a notification, through HP Support Assistant, of a new update (BIOS Update UEFI).
I've googled around to find out about UEFI, and I did. But now I'm a bit nervous, considering how BIOS updates can be sensible.
Has anyone tried this update? And did it go smoothly?

    Regards,
    Jose.

Absolutely make sure it is almost impossible to not lose power or internet connection. In other words, no pets, toddlers or storms around. You can't defend a car wreck taking power out of course. I've updated the BIOS in my laptop three times and flashed my router several times without incident. Does this PC already have a UEFI mother board? If not, interesting that they can do something like this.

Jose, if you would post the complete model number of that HP, perhaps someone who has the same PC could respond to your question.
