how you fare with harddisks ?

    OT though, but with the next generation of solid state drives,no mech. parts so this problem[mech. failure would be over],but for now they are small and expensive. i gues within a year or two they drop in price enough to make it interesting.

    Well, the SSD is gaining capacity very rapidly. It's too expensive to be interesting right now but I'm sure that problem will be solved within a couple of years.
