I have been curious about how it will respond to ransomware and today's internet baddies, do you think that even though it has been unavailable for years it could still keep a modern computer safe?

I loved this program, I think that it would be effective again.

Due to fact that all appps facing internet should be isolated (set as "islolate on access" "auto-isolation" or "allways isolated") GW perhaps still can be good solution. But honestly I don't know current tests of its protection...it's just already abandoned.
