Whenever my Kubuntu comes out of sleep there is a 1s or so delay before the wifi connects. I have turned power management off on the wireless adapter but it doesn't have any effect. Anything else to speed up the authentication and reduce the connection delay? Just to be clear, speed if fine when connected, it's waiting for the connection to be established that's my issue.
