How to secure a machine that may be infected while visiting untrusted sites?

    Hi there,

    Yes. They "infected" my site, without any prior warning to me and without any evidence. I was in communication with them all morning, since their initial reaction was that it would take up to three weeks, in which time even greater damage could be done. Of course, this was entirely unacceptable, and eventually I had the warning removed as well as getting an apology for "emotional harm" that it caused me. They realized what they were into.

    I think their product and process is greatly flawed. They should adopt a process similar to the Better Business Bureau, as opposed to their very cavalier attitude that they have now. I am not going to pursue it any more. Life is too short, but it was a good thing that I was alerted to this fact on this forum. Thanks to those who brought this to my attention.
